FolioKit documentation
Using FolioKit
Setup and daily use, in plain language — with the technical detail folded underneath where it belongs.
Getting started
From zero to live data in one paste: register your app, hand the block to your AI coding agent, and let it verify itself. Every step in plain language, with a collapsible technical track.
Integration guide
The canonical, hosted, versioned guide the integration prompt points at: SPM install, the RevenueCat one-ID handshake, screens, standard events, SKAdNetwork, and the machine-checkable verify step.
Connect RevenueCat and App Store Connect
Two keys from your app's settings: a read-only RevenueCat key keeps the paying-user count exact, and a Finance App Store Connect key brings in Apple's downloads and payouts. Steps, sync schedule, error meanings, revoking.
Web tracking for landing pages
One script tag: page views, App Store clicks, ?ac= campaign attribution, visible time on page, custom events, the waitlist-form pattern — and an honest section about adblockers.
Dashboard guide
Every tab explained (Live, Overview, Lifecycle, Retention, Revenue, P&L, Config, Insights) with what to look for in each, and every metric defined precisely (yes, days are UTC).
FAQ & troubleshooting
No data showing, numbers that don't match App Store Connect or RevenueCat, ATT, deleting data and test users, pricing — with the exact checks to run.
Trust & transparency
Check before you trust: the real formats, the real policies, the honest status.
A full sample of the Monday brief
One complete weekly brief, in the exact format the generator produces — TL;DR, highlights, concerns (including an instrumentation-bug catch), revenue, and prioritized focus actions.
Data & privacy: collected vs never collected
The complete list of what the SDK sends, what it will never send, where the data lives (EU — Paris), and the paperwork we don't have yet.
The identity lifecycle
How one anonymous ID is generated, handed to RevenueCat, and joins behavior to money — plus what happens on existing apps, and on reinstall.
SDK facts
Requirements, automatic and standard events, offline behavior, remote config, and the exact explanation of why there is no ATT prompt.
Feature status
What's live today on the founder's own four apps, what's still hardening, what's coming — and what FolioKit will never build.
